In a notable development for Swinburne FC, midfielder Thomas Yeardley has reportedly made the decision to leave the club.

The 24-years-old has according to reports decided to leave and return to his native country for lifestyle reasons.

Asked about his return to the UK, Yeardley had this to say,

“When is Season Launch?” the midfielder responded referring to the annual pre-season drinking day set to be held on April 13.

Joining Swinburne FC in 2021, Yeardley quickly became a pivotal figure in the team’s midfield.

One of his finest moments was a stunning free-kick in the 2023 Metro 4 Grand Final.

He played a significant role in the club’s success, including securing two league titles during his tenure.
