Swinburne FC has announced the inaugural Legends Cup, a new event aimed at celebrating the club’s history by bringing together past players.

Sponsored by Jace Cleaning, it’s scheduled for July 6, 2024, the event will take place at Howard Dawson Reserve.

The Legends team, composed of 20 former Swinburne FC players, will face off against the current Senior Men’s side in a friendly.

This event not only promises an exciting match but also serves as a reunion for former teammates and an opportunity for them to engage with current club members.

The Legends Cup will feature a BBQ and bar, making it a fun occasion for all attendees.

If you’re eager to lace up your boots and join the game, we’d love to have you on the field.

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to come down, enjoy some beers, and reminisce about the good old days, we warmly welcome you to join us.

We have booked our sponsor pub The Elgin Inn from 6pm for after the match.

Former players interested in participating are encouraged to fill out an expression of interest form available on the club’s website.
