We are thrilled to announce that Tony Trifunov will be making a highly anticipated return as a guest coach for the Legends team at the inaugural Legends Cup on July 6.

This event marks a special occasion as we welcome back a key figure in our club’s history.

Tony Trifunov served as the senior men’s coach for seasons 2012 & 2013 whilst the seniors competed in State League 5 East.

Asked about the opportunity to come back to Swinburne FC, Tony was thrilled.

“It would be my pleasure to coach the boys again,” said Tony.

“I can’t wait to see them and reunite with them after all these years.”

Currently, Tony is the Female Technical Director for 2024 at Avondale FC.

The Legends Cup promises to be an exciting event, celebrating the rich history and future of our club.
