1. Respect and Fair Play
Treat all players, coaches, officials, and opponents with respect and fairness, both on and off the field.
Embrace the spirit of fair play, promoting honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship at all times.
Accept and respect the decisions made by referees and officials, even if you may disagree with them.
Avoid any form of cheating, diving, or unsportsmanlike behaviour that brings the game into disrepute.
2. Volunteer Commitment
As a member of Swinburne FC, each player is expected to actively contribute to the club’s volunteer activities.
3. Inclusive Environment
Create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all participants, regardless of their age, gender, race, religion, or ability.
Stand against discrimination, harassment, or any form of bullying within the club or during matches.
Foster teamwork, cooperation, and camaraderie among players, promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere.
4. Player Responsibilities
Attend training sessions and matches regularly, notifying the coach or team manager in advance if unable to do so.
Be punctual for training sessions, matches, and team events, demonstrating commitment to the club and teammates.
Follow the instructions and guidance of the coach and team officials, showing a willingness to learn and improve.
Maintain a high level of personal conduct and self-discipline, both on and off the field, reflecting positively on the club.
5. Spectator Expectations
Support the team in a positive and respectful manner, refraining from any form of abusive or offensive language or behaviour.
Respect the decisions made by referees and officials, even if they may be perceived as unfavourable.
Encourage good sportsmanship and fair play, both among fellow spectators and towards the opposing team.
Avoid engaging in any form of confrontations, disputes, or disruptive behaviour that may harm the reputation of the club.
6. Club and Community
Respect the facilities, equipment, and property of the club and its partners, ensuring they are treated with care and kept clean.
Comply with all local laws, regulations, and policies, both during club activities and when representing the club externally.
7. Breach of Code of Conduct
Any concerns or incidents should be reported promptly to the club officials.
